Commercial planning
Haybrooke is pleased to offer your business a comprehensive cost rates calculation and consultancy service. This service is provided by our CEO John Roche, author of the BPIF's 2006 publication, Costing Principles & Guidelines and veteran of over 200 costing consultancies both in the UK and US at printers of all shapes and sizes (from £100k to £100m turnover).
All businesses struggle from time to time
In the printing industry the key to your longevity is to know what your cost rates are - even if you are being forced to sell at an apparent market rate. Accurate cost rates will reveal the truth about your strengths and weaknesses and give you the opportunity to find ways of reducing your overheads, or perhaps even change the way you run your business. Discovering and then monitoring your cost rates will automatically help you to become more cost-effective and competitive. If you don't know your true cost rates you are not in a position to make informed decisions about your company's future.
Work smarter
Accurate cost rates are considered by most printing companies as vital to their success. Employing staff with the right training to calculate cost rates or enlisting the services of third party consultants and accountants can be expensive. Small printing companies, in particular, simply don't have the resources or finance available and so find themselves with the disadvantage of not knowing their true cost rates. In today's competitive market any disadvantage can be harmful to your business, but to overlook your cost rates can be crippling. That is why we are now offering a comprehensive cost rates consultancy for a fraction of what you would normally expect to pay
Your cost rates calculated
Our three day costing consultancy costs £2,850 + VAT (plus £250 + VAT if ICA certification required).
In addition to your initial set of hourly cost rates, you can ask us to recalculate your cost rates as often as you like during the 12-months following the initial consultation. This might be because your staffing levels change, or perhaps you invest in new equipment. You could even ask us to do a hypothetical what-if? - particularly useful if you are thinking of buying new machinery or taking on new staff and want to know the effect on your business and your cost rates. There are no additional charges for this service.
We want to make sure that the companies who need it the most will use our cost rates consultancy service. That is why we have made our pricing so competitive. Our aim is simple - to give you an edge in today's ultra-competitive market.. And in order to survive, this might just be the best help you can get.
